CEMA’s Business Barometer Index Maintains Upswing in April!
The general Business Climate Index for the Agricultural Machinery Industry in Europe hits a new all-time high since 2011 after having reached the positive range in October for the first time since mid-2019. As for the barometer, the index is at +66 points (on a scale of -100 to +100) in April.
Product Safety Audit and Surveillance Plan: Trailer Manufacturers To Be Inspected by Competent Authorities!
General Directorate of Security has reported that some agricultural trailers did not meet the relevant administrative and technical requirements specified in the traffic legislation. In order to ensure traffic safety, trailer manufacturers will be inspected in 2021 in accordance with the “Product Safety Inspection and Surveillance Plan” of the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
Turkish Tractormakers Ramped Up Production in March!
According to the preliminary data released for the 1st quarter of 2021, 7,357 units of tractor were produced in March, hence Turkish tractor production rose by 155,6 percent compared with the same time last year.
Amendment in Type Approval Regulations of Agricultural and Forestry Machinery!
Regulations for type approvals of agricultural and forestry machinery have been amended. Lately, the amended regulations were published in the Official Journal.
